Size wise its about 8 inches or 22cm a moist lowland forest bird upto 900m. I believe it do move about like the Finsch following the fruiting of berries and fruits of shrubery trees as their staple food whilst insects and nectar are its secondary source of food.
Breeding start as early as Jan until July and their nest are like a cup made from twigs, barks and vegetation in discreet low undergrowth.
