FLYCATCHER 12/25 - Malaysian blue flycatcher

 Malaysian Blue flycatcher

The last time I seen it was way back in 2008. That time it was a male . This instant I got the female. It has this whitish patch face ie below the eyes. I was shooting from the car as it followed me until I parked my car. By the time I set up it was gone. Worst thing that happen I forgot to bring my playback AV cable and then the Wimberley plate loosen and I did not have the allen key..........

Anyway this is the best of my earlier shots of the FC.

Another flycatcher to my photo collection. Size less than 6 inches. The rufous orange breast is their id with deep blue throat of the male whilst the female has a whitish buffed chin.

It is found in broadleaved forest and near river and stream of lowland forest.
