Savannah Nightjar
They are a master of camouflage and lay their eggs 1-2 nos on open ground among leaves and twigs under a tree. Breeding season starts March till August. They do not fly away when approached, even to 15 ft away. They relied so heavily on their camouflage. However any action of making a direct approach further will trigger flight by the bird to a short distance away as it repeat the same reaction. Most of the time it spook you rather you seeing them when they take flight a few metres from you like Snipes.
