LEAFBIRD 1/4 - Lesser Leafbird

Lesser Green Leafbird

Same length as a common yellow vented bulbul but much plummer. Slightly smaller than the Greater. The Lesser Green Leafbird has yellow between the black mask and the green body and the black mask doesn't go fully around the eye. It very hard to differentiate them. Thought the Lesser suppose to have a narrower beak and its tails a bluish tinge.......scientifically called Chloropsis cyanopogon.

Got only one of the female. The male was a bit more approachable to 10 ft as it is more interested to feed on the berries. This is a bird of the lowland forest.
