White-chested Babbler is locally common in lowland moist swampy jungle and mangrove of Malaysia as well as in Thailand, Indonesia & Myammar Though it is common bird to be heard and see but to photograph it is another matter. This is because it stays in dense dark areas of undergrowth and foliage usually near some waterway and wetground. To chase it is a no no

It is a small bird of slightly more than 6 inches ; white chested and a pale beige eye patch. Usually solitary unless breeding season. Babblers eats anything critters crawlies and flying bugs that they find on the ground and low vegetation
